Boniface Mwangi Seeks Public Funds for 2027 Bid

Activist Boniface Mwangi has asked Kenyans to fund his 2027 presidential campaign. He announced his plan on X, saying he wants a citizen-driven campaign free from corrupt financing.

Mwangi said he will not take money from wealthy individuals or corporations. Instead, he urged ordinary Kenyans to support his vision of a government that serves the people.

He revealed an M-Pesa till number for contributions. Mwangi promised to account for every coin and give regular updates on how the funds are used. He said transparency will guide every step of his campaign.

Mwangi has long spoken against corruption and injustice in Kenya. He previously contested for the Starehe parliamentary seat in 2017.

His campaign will focus on empowering citizens, reforming governance, and creating opportunities for youth and marginalized groups.

Reactions to his appeal are many. Supporters praised his push for clean politics. Critics doubt his chances against established political figures.

Mwangi remains confident. He urged Kenyans to take charge of their future by funding a people-driven campaign.

The fundraising continues as Mwangi vows to use contributions wisely and deliver meaningful change for all Kenyans.
