He urged Kenyans to help the woman and her child. Kenyans responded with speed and raised over Ksh 1million Joyce struggling with a man while her child clung to her. She claimed the man was her husband and said he mistreated them. She also added that her child faced mental health struggles.
Later, Eric Omondi shocked his followers when he uncovered the truth. Joyce confessed that the man in the video was not her husband. She admitted that he was just a passerby. She said she paid him KSh 200 to act in the scene. Joyce admitted that she and her friends staged the video to collect money.
