Man collapses, dies at Bungoma Court. Tragedy hit the Bungoma Law Courts on Thursday morning when a man suddenly collapsed and died while waiting for his case.
Witnesses said he arrived at the court on a motorcycle around 9 a.m. He looked weak and tired. Judiciary staff noticed his condition and gave him a “Priority Card” to help him get faster assistance.
Officials confirmed his case was before the Environment and Land Court. The man told officers he would wait for his lawyer. He then rested on the grass outside the court with his brothers.
A court officer later went to update him about his case but found him unresponsive. They tried to assist him, but he did not survive.
The Judiciary sent condolences to his family and said it will investigate the incident to understand what caused his sudden death
