Uhuru Kenyatta Urges Jubilee Members to Respect All Leaders

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta urged Jubilee Party members to stop attacking former deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. He said the party values respect, peace, and unity for everyone.

During his speech in Murang’a, Kenyatta expressed disappointment with leaders who insult others online. He emphasized that Jubilee promotes open dialogue and mutual respect rather than personal attacks. “I feel sad when people claim to defend Jubilee by abusing Rigathi Gachagua and others. I do not want that behavior in our party,” he said.

Furthermore, Kenyatta asked Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni to focus on building the party and bringing people together. He reminded officials to serve Kenyans with honesty, fairness, and compassion.

In addition, he promised to rebuild Jubilee into a peaceful and credible movement that welcomes all voices. He explained that members must remain true to the party’s values and work together for the good of every Kenyan. At the same time, his remarks came as Jubilee faces growing internal tension. Through this speech, Kenyatta aimed to unite members and strengthen cooperation ahead of the 2027 general election.

According to political observers, his message showed strong leadership and a desire to heal divisions within the Mount Kenya region. They added that his defense of Gachagua promotes reconciliation and teamwork within the party.

In conclusion, Kenyatta urged all leaders to act with maturity and kindness. He reminded them that true strength comes from unity, respect, and serving people with dignity.
